018/Ambos Mundos Hotel, Havana Vieja, Cuba.
One of the most atmospheric hotels the newly refurbished Ambos Mundos, famous for where Ernest Hemingway first stayed before he bought an estate on the island. Room 511 is preserved as it was when the writer was here on and off from 1932 to 1940; his typewriter, model of his boat, the Pilar, and an empty whiskey bottle are among the few momentoes. This view Hemingway fell in love with, looking out over the old city from the roof top enjoying the best mojitos in all cuba.
