Built between 1909 and 1913 at a cost of 16.4 million dollars it is an exact replica of the Capitol building in Washington District of Colombia but minus the secret service and security guards. Open daily 09.00 - 18.30. To one side of the Capitol is La Fuente de la India, the 'Fountain of India', a marble sculpture erected in 1837. On the opposite side the once elegant facades are now crumbling bathed in the golden evening light.
