Morro da Urca's final stage cable-car to the summit. Coming into view on the right is the great sweep of Botafogo Bay and Parque do Flamengo. On the left is the old cable-car which was last used in 1970 and is noticably smaller than the one used today. The official cable-car website link: www.bondinho.com.br The final stage of the journey takes approximately three minutes, traveling at an average speed of 26ft per second. The summit height rises to 396m.
