The attractive Nortumberland Place is situated down Union Street.
At No. 7 the corner shop on your right is where William Frieze-Green, the inventor of cine photography had a studio. Directly ahead St. John's Arch which leads onto Trim Street and was built by a wealthy clothier, George Trim. Trim Street was one of the first developments outside the city.
