022/St. John's Arch to Trim Street, Bath England
Directly in front at No. 5 is where General Wolfe lived; the brilliant military tactician, who captured Quebec for the British in one of the most remarkable battles of the century it took just 11 minutes! To the left is St. John's Arch to Trim Street, which was built by a wealthy clothier, George Trim. In medieval times Bath had a prosperous woolen trade, immortalized by the Wife of Bath in one of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. Trim Street was one of the first developments outside the city walls.
